FREUD MÜZESİ

Annemle Freud’un müzesine gidelim diye kararlaştırıyoruz. Heyecanla kapıdan içeri adımımı atıyorum ve bir anlığına sanki müzede değil de kendimi bir evin içinde hissediyorum. Gerçekten de öyle; çünkü aslında burası Sigmund Freud’un muayenehanesi! Hemen içeri atlıyorum, heyecanlıyım da tabii.

Girişte kocaman bir kitaplıkla karşılaşıyorum. Bu da –haliyle- dikkatimi çekiyor. Elime alıp incelemeye başladığımda ise Freud’un el yazmalarını ve yazdığı kitapları görüyorum. Onlar bana adeta birer hazine gibi geliyor.

Biraz dolaşınca Freud gibi psikanaliz alanında başarılar elde eden kızı Anna Freud’un yaptığı çalışmaları görüyorum. Çocuk psikolojisiyle uğraşmış, hatta psikanaliz alanında babasına bayağı yardımcı olmuş.

Gelelim herkesin merak ettiği meşhur kırmızı koltuk… Freud’un hastalarını tedavi ettiği kırmızı koltuk… Bu koltuğun üstünde de Freud’un birçok ülkeden aldığı sertifikaları görüyoruz. Biraz bakınca tutkusu olan arkeolojiyle ilgili heykelleri, çömlekleri fark ediyorum. İçeri odaya geçince de Freud’un ve yakınlarının fotoğraflarını görüyorum. Eşi Martha Bernays, yakın arkadaşı Carl Jung, kızı Anna Freud… Kendi kişisel eşyalarını da görmek büyük bir onur.

Müzeden çıkışta iyi ki gelmişim diyorum. Kim bilir belki de onun gibi olabilirim!

5 MADDEDE SIGMUND FREUD:

1)      Avusturya’da Yahudi Olmak: Sigmund, Yahudi bir yün tüccarı ile ondan yirmi yaş küçük bir bayanın çocuğu olarak dünyaya gelmişti. 4 yaşındayken ekonomik sıkıntılar nedeniyle yerleştikleri Avusturya’da arkadaşları tarafından sırf “Yahudi” diye dışlanacağını ve ileride kitaplarının yakılacağını bilmiyordu. Belki de dünyada psikoloji dalının önde gelenlerinden olmasına rağmen bir zamanlar “Yahudi” diye dışlanan bir kişi olması bence insanlık ayıbıdır. İnsanları “kim” oldukları için değil de “ne yaptıkları” için değerlendirsek bir adım daha öne geçeriz diye düşünüyorum.

2)      En büyük 3 Hobisi: Freud’un vazgeçemem dediği üç hobisi vardı: Seyahat etmek, sigara içmek ve arkeoloji. Arkeolojiye olan tutkusunu evinin duvarlarındaki Mısır Mitolojisi heykellerinin resimlerinden, topladığı antikalardan anlayabiliriz.

3)      Oedipus Kompleksi: Sigmund Freud’a ait olan bu teori, Yunan mitolojisinden esinlenmiş. Çocukların karşı cinsten olan ebeveynine yakınlık duyup (erkeğin annesine kızın babasına) kendi cinsinden olan ebeveynine uzak davranması diyebiliriz.  Oedipus da babasını öldürüp, annesiyle evlenir. Freud ensest ilişkiyi de şöyle tanımlıyor:

“Ensest ilişki, insanın içinde uyuyan bir yaratıktır. Ve bu yaratık hiçbir zaman uyanmaz. Ancak bazen, uyurken, çok şiddetli horlayabilir.”

4)      Viggo Mortensen “Freud” Olacak: 2012’nin başlarında vizyona girecek olan David Cronenberg’in yönetmenliğini yaptığı “A Dangerous Method” adlı filmde de Freud ile öğrencisi Carl Jung’un yakın arkadaşlığının psikanalizi ortaya çıkarmasını anlatıyor. Sigmund Freud rolünde Viggo Mortensen’ı, Carl Jung rolünde Michael Fassbender’ı ve Rus hasta Sabina rolünde de Keira Knightley’i göreceğiz.

5)      Martha Bernays ve Anna Freud: Sigmund Freud, 1882 yılında Tıp doktoru oldu ve bu yıl Martha Bernays ile nişanlandı. 1886 yılında ise evlendiler. Bu evlilikten Freud’un 6 çocuğu oldu. En küçükleri olan Anna Freud da babasının yolundan giderek, çocuk psikoloğu oldu ve psikanaliz üzerine çalışmalar yaptı.

FREUD MUSEUM

            We’re deciding to go to the Freud Museum with my mom. With full of excitement, i took a step on the museum and –for a minute- i feel like i’m in a house. It’s right; because this is where Freud lived and took care of his patients one day. Then i become more excited, my heart beats.

            I saw a huge bookcase at the entrance. This –as always- interests me and i go check it. When i take all of them, i figure out that there are handwritings and books of Freud. They look like treasures to me.

            I take a walk into the rooms of the house and i find out that there’s a room for his daughter, Anna Freud. I see her examinations of psychoanalysis and she helped with her father about that.

            Then let’s talk about the red couch… The red couch that everyone talks about… The red couch that Freud took care of his patients. We can see his certificates from many diffrent countries above the couch. When i look carefully i can see statues, pottery from his passion, archaeology.  When i get into the inside room, i see Freud’s and his family’s, friends’ photos. His wife Martha Bernays, his student and friend Carl Jung, his daughter Anna Freud… I’m really glad to see his personal objects too.

I feel so happy after the museum, maybe i’ll be like him someday. Who knows!

FREUD IN 5

1)    Being a Jew in Austria: Sigmund was a child of a Jewish man and his wife who’s twenty years older than him. He came to Austria just because of the economical problems, and by that time he didn’t know he’ll be sidelined with his friends just because of he’s a “Jew” and his books’ll get burn just because of that reason. Perhaps he’s one of the greatest psychologists, but he was sidelined and had to move to London from Austria. I think it’s to awful to judge people of their beliefs. We’ll be real person if we ask to people like “What did you do?” except “Who are you?”

2)    His Top 3 Hobbies: Freud has some kind of hobbies that he said i can’t do without them: Travelling, smoking and archaeology. We can see his passion to archaeology by the antiques on his wall.

3)    Oedipus Complex: This theory from Sigmund Freud was inspired by the Greek Mythology. We can say that it’s like a child who goes intense with the parent as different gender with he/she and gets away from the parent who’s the same gender as it. So Oedipus possesses to his mother and kills his father. Freud describes the incest relationship with these words:

“Being in love with the one parent and hating the other are among the essential constituents of the stock of psychical impulses which is formed at that time and which is of such importance in determining the symptoms of the later neurosis... This discovery is confirmed by a legend that has come down to us from classical antiquity: a legend whose profound and universal power to move can only be understood if the hypothesis I have put forward in regard to the psychology of children has an equally universal validity. What I have in mind is the legend of King Oedipus and Sophocles' drama which bears his name.”

4)    Viggo Mortensen’s Gonna Be “Freud”: “A Dangerous Method” is a movie about Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, and it’s directed by David Cronenberg. It’ll be on theaters in 2012. We’ll see Viggo Mortensen as Sigmund Freud, Michael Fassbender as Carl Jung and Keira Knightley as Russian patient Sabina.

5)    Martha Bernays and Anna Freud: Sigmund Freud became a doctor and engaged with Martha Bernays in 1882. Then they got married in 1886. By that marriage, they had six children and the youngest of them, Anna Freud was also became a psychologist like her father and helped him with the psychoanalysis.
