                   YERYÜZÜNDEKİ SON AŞK

Duyularımız olmasa ne olurdu? Tadamasak, koklayamasak, duyamasak ya da göremesek… Aşk, hep galip gelir miydi bu hayat denen savaşta? Hep sever miydik, sarılır mıydık sımsıkı?

         Filmde bilim insanı Susan (Eva Green) ile şef Michael’ın (Ewan McGregor)  imkânsızlıkları yenen aşklarını izliyoruz. İkisi bütün zorluklara rağmen aşkı seçeceklerdir. Göremeseler bile…

            Filmin yönetmeni David McKenzie. (Halam Foe, Young Adam) Başrollerde ise Ewan McGregor (Hayalet Yazar/The Ghost Writer, Star Wars), Eva Green (Cennetin Krallığı, Camelot), Connie Nielsen, (Şeytanın Avukatı, Gladyatör) Stephen Dillane (King Arthur, Goal!) ve Ewen Bremner (Halam Foe, Death At A Funeral) yer alıyor.

            Aşk da bir histir aslında; ama öyle bir duyudur ki göremesek de duyamasak da en derinde aşk vardır. Sanki dışarı çıkmayı bekliyormuş gibi saklanır kalbimizin bir köşesinde. Ayakta tutandır, besleyendir aslında. Filmde de belirtilmek istenen buydu.

            Filmde dikkatimi çeken bir nokta ise insanların bir anda hırçınlaşıp, birbirlerine zarar vermeleriydi. Biz de bunu yapıyoruz. Terör denen şey vahşetten başka bir şey değil; ancak dünyanın her yerinde var. Peki, neden besliyoruz bu laneti? Neden insanlar ölüyor? Yıllar sonra anlayacağız ki, yaptığımız çok mantıksız. Lakin iş işten geçmiş olacak, biz de duyma yetkimizi kaybedeceğiz.

            Hani gözümüz hiçbir şeyi görmeksizin, saldırıyorduk ya yemeğe. İşte bir gün tat alma duyumuz bitecek. Yediğimiz “çöp” ile lezzetli yiyeceklerin de bir farkı kalmayacak.

            En sonunda ise her şeyi bir kenara bırakıp, gülümseyeceğiz. Hiçbir şeyi fark etmeyeceğiz. Gözlerimiz de yetkisini kaybedecek. Sonrasında ise tek umut sarılmak olacak. Sarılacağız sıkı sıkı, çocuğumuza, eşimize, sevgilimize…

            Filmin yönetmeni David McKenzie’yi ve oyuncular Ewan McGregor ile Eva Green’i kutluyorum ve teşekkür etmek istiyorum. Filmin tek eksiğinin çekimleri olduğunu düşünüyorum, onun dışında belgesel tadında bir romantizm paylaşılmış.

                                   PERFECT SENSE

         What would happen if we didn’t have senses? If we couldn’t taste, smell, hear or even couldn’t see… Would love win at this life like a battle? Would we still love, would we hold ourselves tight?

            We see the love -which gets on the impossibilities- of the scientist Susan (Eva Green) and a chef Michael. (Ewan McGregor)

            Love’s actually a sense, even if we can’t see or hear, there’s love at the deep. Like it’s been stucked and waiting to come out. It makes us stand for the hard times, it feeds us. Movie was all about this, it mentioned love.

            The part that atracked me was the part that people gets so frustrated and hurts each other. We also do this all the time. The “thing” called terror is nothing but crime; but it’s everwhere in the world. But why do we keep hurting people? Why? What’s the point of killing people? Why are they dying? I keep asking these questions to myself. We’ll understand how “ridicilous” it is; but we’re gonna be so late about that. We’re gonna lost our hearing ability then.

            Do you remember that we were little hungry miserables, we were eating the food like we’re attacking it? Then one day, we won’t taste anyting, we’ll figure out that there aren’t any differences between the “junk” and the “yum.”

            Finally, we forget all about the stuff we did. We’ll just smile and hug each other. Then we’re gonna lose our vision, we won’t see anything. After all the pain, we’ll hold our child, our husband or wife, our loves so tight. It’ll be the last hope.

            I’m so grateful to David McKenzie, Ewan McGregor and Eva Green for creating a masterpiece. I only think that there was something unprofessional about shooting but loved this documentary like romance.
