ALTIN PORTAKAL GÜNLÜKLERİ -1-
Artık Bir Papa’mız Var: 8 Ekim 2011 itibariyle 48. Altın Portakal Film Festivali’ne başlamış bulunuyorum. Bu tatlı heyecan sayesinde çok mutlu olduğumu belirtmek isterim. Bu maratona “Habemus Papam/Artık Bir Papa’mız Var” filmiyle başlıyorum. Arkadaşımın doğum gününden çıkıp, bir koşu Cinebonus’a gidiyorum.
Filmin konusu yeni seçilen Papa’nın kendine duyduğu güvensizlik sonucu, bir piskoanalist onun sorununa çözüm aramaya çalışır. Lakin bu pek de kolay olmayacaktır; çünkü Papa, kendini hazır hissetmiyordur. Onun da derinde sakladığı bir sır vardır.
Film, Altın Portakal’da “Ustaların Gözünden” bölümünde gösteriliyor. Aynı zamanda Cannes Film Festivali’nde de büyük ödül için yarışan filmin yönetmeni Nanni Moretti. Kendisini filmde de Profesör rolünde görüyoruz. Rolüne başarıyla uyum sağlamış diye düşünüyorum.
Filme geri dönersek yapılabilecek yorumlardan biri şüphesiz ki çoğu kişinin anlatmaya değinemeyeceği bir konuyu başarılı bir dille anlatılmış olmasıydı. Sürükleyici olup, yer yer esprilerle de süslenen filmin başarısında oyuncuların da katkısı büyük. Papa rolündeki Michel Piccoli başlı başına yetiyor diyebiliriz. Onun yanında daha önce de bahsettiğim gibi Nanni Moretti yönetmenliğin yanında oyunculuğun da üstesinden gelebileceğini kanıtlamış.
Filmin sevdiğim yanlarından biri de abartıya yer vermemesiydi. Sizi adeta olayları yaşıyormuşsunuz gibi hissettirebilen sıcacık bir havası var. Film kucak açıyor adeta. Müzikleri de olağanüstüydü, filmin dikkat çekilmesi gereken unsurlarından biri.
Yazımı bitirmeden önce bir şey daha eklemek istiyorum. Film, biraz bende The King’s Speech’in yarattığı havayı yarattı. Konular benzer, yalnız işlenişler ve yapımlar farklı. Umarım “Habemus Papam” da The King’s Speech gibi izlenilir, aksi takdirde filme gerekli önem verilemez.

CHRONICLES OF GOLDEN ORANGE -1-
Habemus Papam: I’m starting to my 48th Golden Orange Film Festival tour by the date October 8th 2011. I want to tell you that i’m so happy with the excitement of festival. First movie on my schedule is “Habemus Papam” which means “We Have A Pope.”After my friend’s b-day I go to Cinebonus a little bit quickly.
Movie’s about the disbelief of a newly elected Pope and the relationship between him and his psychoanalyst. The psychoanalyst tries to figure out what was Pope’s problem, but it’s kinda hard to find; cause Pope has a secret deep-down.
We watch the movie in “Through The Masters’ Lens.” It also competed in Cannes Film Festival for the grand award. The movie’s directed by the master, Nanni Moretti who also acted in the movie as the Professor. I admit that he became perfect as his character!

I think it’s gonna be cool if we talk about the movie again. Right? So, the point that i like about the movie is –surely- a theme that lots of people can’t even think to make a movie about it. Yet, so many people can’t make a movie with such a language of Nanni Moretti. (I mean every movie’s have a language, but any movie has a language like Moretti’s.) It’s so fascinating and it’s set of with a tiny bit of humour. Actors were so amazing, they also made the movie look better. Especially Michel Piccoli! (as Pope) Also Nani Moretti’s done an awesome job as the Professor. He proved that he can be both director and actor.
I’m so glad that we never see an exaggeration in the movie. It was so natural and makes you feel like you’re in it. It hugs you and says sleep on my lap! Well, maybe that sounds pretty lame but you’ll undertstand when you watch it. Its soundtrack’s incredibly great, i’m searching it on the net now!
I wanna add something before finishing my article. I thought “Habemus Papam” made me feel what i feel when i’ve seen The King’s Speech. Common theme, different movie languages and actors. I hope it’ll known just like The King’s Speech, unless lots of people won’t even hear the name of it.
